Parts Counter Consultant

Audi South Burlington is seeking a Parts Consultant to join our busy Parts Department. If you have a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills, we'd love to hear from you!

Candidates must have a valid Driver's License, with satisfactory driving history. Prior experience working in a parts counter position is preferred. Relevant experience will also be considered. This would be a great opportunity for an import enthusiast or automotive technician looking for a change!

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists all customers (counter, shop, and phone) in          selecting required parts in a friendly and efficient            manner.
• Advise parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop          supplies. Locates out-of-stock parts from outside            sources, if necessary.
• Notify the service advisor or customer when special ordered parts have been received.
• Check in orders, replenishes stock daily. 
• Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. 
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
• Keeps all parts department areas clean and uncluttered.
• Assist with annual parts inventory.
• Makes sure all parts handed out are billed on repair  orders or invoices.
• Receives payment from parts customers or handles charge account billing properly.
• Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the                customer and all customers receive their copy of the        invoice.
• Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Participates in required training assigned by parts manager.
• Keeps current on new products and product updates.
•  Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.         
• Performs other duties as assigned.
